Fire Department

The Clement Township Fire Department strives to provide progressive training to equip its members with the knowledge and skills needed to serve the community. Training meetings are held bimonthly. All required training is free to members of the department. Training includes but is not limited to:

• Fire suppression
• Medical first response
• Wild land fire suppression
• Vehicle extrication
• Emergency vehicle driving
• Cold water rescue
• Hazmat response
• Public education

Members are encouraged to participate in additional fire department functions. Members must pass an initial felony background check, urine drug test and physical. The department is paid on call. Clement Township Fire Department is seeking those persons who possess a willing and serving attitude toward others. Please call (989)345-1761 for more information if you would like to become a volunteer on our Fire Department.
